The famous Sherlock Holmes is in trouble. It seems he has come across some shocking evidence during his latest investigation. Even before he can report back to Scotland Yard, the latter receives different news: the master detective has been kidnapped and his nemesis makes no secret of the fact that this is not about a ransom. Sherlock is to be taken out of the way so that the information he uncovered never reaches the authorities.
