The Puppeteer

Once upon a time there was a puppeteer who toured the country with his theater. Unfortunately, he was not very successful. He could only just keep his head above water until one day he met a talking puppet. He was able to persuade it to perform with him. With its help, the two of them ended up living the high life. The crowd loved their shows. But fate was not kind to the puppeteer. One day, the talking puppet disappeared with all his earnings. Desperate, the puppeteer tried to build a talking puppet himself, but all his efforts failed. 

Desperation turned into madness. So the once friendly puppeteer devised a crazy, malevolent plan: instead of trying to breathe new life into a lifeless puppet, he could simply take real people and have them perform as his puppets. 

He decided on the city of Kiel, the location of his last performance, to keep an eye out for suitable victims. During the next few days, the puppeteer stirred the advertising drum for a truly “phenomenal theater play” everywhere and all over the world. 

It doesn’t take long before the first audience enters the legendary and much talked about theater of the puppeteer in this historically fascinating harbor town on the Baltic coast. The performance begins in an hour and the seats in the theater quickly fill up with a large number of interested guests. A group of the first visitors has disappeared under mysterious circumstances. What has become of them? Will the monstrous plan of the mad puppeteer work? 

Will the missing visitors become his puppets for eternity? The answer to these questions and the liberation from captivity are now in your hands and time is playing against you… 

This live escape game in the atmospheric, gloomy future of a steampunk universe provides you with a very special kind of thrill.
